Shogun

My first time here and I can say it will not be my last! From the service to the food, it was all great! I visited for lunch with my husband and the ambience was nice. It was low-light and not too cold like other restaurants. I tried my very first bento box (steak) and it was amazing and satisfied my hunger. The meat was juicy and nicely flavored. The rest of the meal was also delicious. My bento box had an orange included which added the perfect contrast in taste to my meal. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone and I will for sure visit again and see about trying more of their food options!

We had a good time overall at Shogun Hibachi Grill and Sushi. The chef wasn’t the best hibachi chef we’ve had, but he did a decent job and listened when we asked for our vegetables to be well done, which we appreciated. The food was fine—good, but nothing particularly memorable. The restaurant was clean, well designed, and well lit, and everyone we interacted with was very friendly. The prices were also reasonable, which was a nice surprise. That said, it wasn’t memorable enough for us to feel the need to come back. We were also surprised that they don’t offer hot tea and that there are no sauce options for the hibachi—just one standard sauce, with no teriyaki or alternatives. The sauce was okay, but not something that stood out. Overall, a pleasant experience with fair prices and good service, just not a place we’d go out of our way to return to.

Me any my husband love the good deal on margaritas and the Shaggy dog sushi. I could legit eat it daily. Plus, you can always get seated...well in my experience
